Filey Academy are looking to appoint a Teacher of MFL (Spanish) to join our academy in September 2026, on a part time, permanent basis.

Our Teacher of MFL role presents a brilliant opportunity to play a pivotal part in the improvement journey of our academy. Your Head of Department is ambitious for better and better outcomes for our students and she really believes in the joy and value of Spanish. Our Curriculum

With a Spanish curriculum that is developed centrally and adapted by each academy, we are able to offer a robust, relevant and expertly created learning pathway. We have extensive materials for staff to use and adapt and we support students with regularly updated Knowledge Organisers. We also use online platforms to support learning such as Languagenut.

Your new school

Filey Academy is an 11-16 mixed community school serving the coastal town of Filey and its surrounding villages. We have a proud heritage in our local community and are embarking on a period of transformation and improvement. We aim for every member of our school community to develop a love of learning and enable them to reach the highest outcomes that they can.
