It is an

exciting time to work with the Science team, with large numbers of students choosing to study the triple sciences at GCSE, along with ever-increasing numbers of students studying the sciences including Physics at A level.

part in the academy's role as Lead Careers School for Bucks (and an Area of Excellence recognised nationally by Challenge Partners)


The KS3 curriculum covers a broad range of topics and is taught to provide the foundation knowledge required for success in the sciences. At GCSE we follow the AQA Triple Science and Trilogy Science courses. At A-Level, Physics follows the AQA specification.

The Science department works closely with our excellent careers team to take the lead in a wide range of STEM opportunities for students. Recent experiences include:
