The role


castle Academy is one of Staffordshire's fastest improving secondary schools. We recently celebrated the best exam results in our school's 57-year history. For the first time ever, half of all students achieved standard passes (Grade 4/C) in English and Maths. The numbers achieving strong passes (Grade 5) doubled from the year before. More young people than ever before are now able to progress to further education, employment or training because of their hard work, the support of their parents and carers, the dedication of our staff and the expertise of the wider Windsor Academy Trust family.

We are looking for an outstanding Physics teacher to join our Science team on a 0.4 FTE basis and to play their part in our remarkable transformation journey. The successful candidate will be a skilful classroom practitioner and have a sustained track record of excellent outcomes at exam level. Most importantly, they will share our passionate commitment to unlocking the academic and personal potential of all our students so that they can turn their ambitions into achievements.


castle Academy is a mixed 11-16 school that joined the Windsor Academy Trust family as part of a Trust transfer in 2024. It is a growing comprehensive school seeking a dynamic and committed leader to drive its journey to excellence.
