We recognise that our staff are our most important asset, and we are committed to protecting their wellbeing while providing high-quality training and development opportunities.

We are immensely proud to be an outward-facing and innovative academy. Teachers are given the freedom to be creative in their pedagogy while ensuring that every child receives the high-quality education they deserve. We also recognise the value of subject expertise and place strong emphasis on this through our tailored CPD programme.

This is an exciting time to join the Academy. Under the direction of a new Principal, a number of positive changes have already been implemented, with more planned in the near future to support our journey toward excellence.

Why Join Us?

Extensive Professional Development - Structured career progression, leadership training, secondment opportunities, coaching, mentoring, and NPQ support. A Culture of Collaboration and Coaching - We believe in the power of coaching to develop teachers at all stages of their careers. Wellbeing and Staff Support - Proud to be a Brilliant School and holders of the Wellbeing Award for Schools. Modern Facilities - Excellent science labs and resources in our purpose-built school.
The Role: Teacher of Physics (MPS/UPS)

We are seeking to appoint a committed and dynamic Teacher of Physics to join our team. This role is suitable for both Early Career Teachers (ECTs) and experienced applicants. You will have the opportunity to teach within your specialism and contribute to our ambition that all students have access to separate sciences, as recommended in the Governors' Curriculum and Assessment Review.

Teaching will primarily be at KS3 and KS4, with KS5 available for the right candidate.

Our Ideal Candidate Will:

Embrace our core values of Respect, Responsibility, and Resilience. Be passionate about Physics and committed to achieving excellent outcomes for students. Demonstrate ambition and optimism about what both the academy and every student can achieve. Have the drive to make a real impact.
Enrichment Opportunities - We are passionate about inspiring a love of science beyond the classroom. As a Teacher of Physics, you will have the chance to contribute to a wide range of enrichment activities, including STEM clubs, science competitions, outreach projects, and collaborative events with local universities and industry partners. We actively encourage staff to lead initiatives that spark curiosity and ambition in our students, helping them see the real-world applications of Physics and the wider sciences.
