Actual Salary 32,916 - 51,048 per annum per annum (M1 to UP3)


This job is Full Time for 1265 annual hours.


It is offered on a Permanent basis.


Approximate start date 23 February/13 April 2026.

Science Teacher - Required from February/Easter 2026

We are seeking an enthusiastic, well-qualified, and successful classroom practitioner to teach Science at KS3, KS4, and KS5. The successful candidate will be required to deliver their specialism up to A Level. We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for their subject, who is reflective and able to inspire, motivate, and challenge students.


The ideal candidate will uphold high standards in teaching and professional development, with strong expectations for student learning.


The Department of Education is offering a Levelling Up Premium worth up to 3,000 after tax annually for physics and chemistry teachers in the first five years of their careers who choose to work in disadvantaged schools. Find out if you are eligible:
