About the role



As a Teacher of Science, you will inspire curiosity and confidence in scientific learning across Years 7-11. You'll be responsible for delivering engaging, well-structured lessons that combine theoretical understanding with practical experimentation. Your role includes planning collaboratively, setting high expectations, and using data effectively to track and support pupil progress. You will also play an active part in the pastoral life of the school, taking responsibility for a form group and contributing to the wider school community. Through your subject passion, professionalism, and commitment to safeguarding, you'll help shape a dynamic and inclusive learning environment.



This is a 1 year fixed-term contract with a proposed September 2025 start date.

You are a motivated and enthusiastic individual with a good Honours degree, Qualified Teacher Status and a passion for helping young people thrive. You bring a balance of subject expertise, creativity, and strong classroom management skills. Your ability to adapt, communicate clearly, and engage students through hands-on learning makes you a valued team member. You understand the importance of pastoral care and are keen to contribute to school life beyond the classroom.
