The Forest School is a highly successful, friendly and dynamic 11-16 School, committed to achieving high standards and to developing the potential of all our students and staff. It is an exciting time in the history of the school as from September '25 the school will be co-educational in every year group and we already know that we are significantly oversubscribed, again, for September. The school has invested heavily in refurbishment and redesign of three new, stunning, state of the art Science rooms with more to be completed soon and we continue to see our Science GCSE results improve year on year. You will be joining a young, enthusiastic team who are always looking for ways to innovate and excite students about Science.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following;
Qualified Teacher Status
the ability to motivate students and achieve excellent results
excellent organisational and ICT skills
good subject knowledge
the capacity to work collaboratively as part of a team
An enthusiasm for Science and the ability to share this with young people
