Responsibilities
Develop and implement lesson plans that align with the curriculum and cater to diverse learning styles.
Create a stimulating classroom environment that encourages student participation and engagement.
Assess and evaluate student performance through various methods, including tests, assignments, and observations.
Provide constructive feedback to students to support their academic growth.
Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and progress reports.
Collaborate with fellow teachers and staff to enhance educational programmes and initiatives.
Communicate effectively with parents regarding student progress and behaviour.
Participate in professional development opportunities to stay current with educational best practices.
Skills
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students, parents, and colleagues.
Excellent organisational skills to manage classroom activities and maintain records efficiently.
Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the needs of individual students.
Proficiency in using technology for teaching purposes, including interactive whiteboards and educational software.
Strong problem-solving skills to address challenges in the classroom effectively.
