Hours of work: 0.6 FTE

Carlton Miniott Primary Academy is a happy and caring academy situated in the attractive village of Carlton Miniott close to the market town of Thirsk.



We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational teacher to cover the Maternity leave of a KS1 Teacher, with good knowledge of the KS1 curriculum who is committed to delivering high standards of teaching and learning within our successful school. The successful candidate will have the ability to provide a high-quality learning experience as well as the enthusiasm and energy to engage and motivate all pupils.


Carlton Miniott Academy is part of the Elevate Multi-Academy Trust.

Job Purpose:

Promote effective learning, appropriate achievement and educational, social and personal progress of all pupils for whom the teacher is designated as being responsible, consistent with the aims of the school and the unique needs of each individual.

To carry out the duties of a teacher set out in the statutory conditions of employment for teachers as defined in the School Teachers' Pay and Conditions Document.
