Job Overview

We are seeking a part time Teacher / tutor to support our after school Junior coding and robotics team in fostering a positive learning environment. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children, have great communication, be warm & friendly, and a have a willingness to learn .

Knowledge of junior robotics and/ or Scratch is beneficial, but not a requirement. .The ready made curriculum is easy To follow and you'll have lots of time working alongside another tutor to get used to it.

Duties

Assist the lead teacher in delivering engaging lessons and activities tailored to the needs of students. Help create a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages learning and development. Facilitate small group tutoring sessions to reinforce learning objectives and assist with homework. Monitor student progress and behaviour, providing feedback to the lead teacher on individual student needs.

Experience

No experience required, but experience working with children or interest in technology is preferred.

We are looking for someone who is keen to learn, enjoys working with children, and is an excellent and reliable communicator.

We have sessions everyday from 15::30-17:30. We can provide work everyday during the week but are particularly interested in candidates who can be available on a Tuesday and Friday.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: 17.50-25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 6 per week
