Job Title:

Early Years Teacher & Nursery Cook

Location:

Muswell Hill, London (N10)

Salary:

26,000 - 32,000 per annum (depending on qualifications and experience)

Hours:

Full-time, 47 weeks per year

Mon - Thurs:

8am - 5pm (1-hour paid lunch)

Fri:

9am - 1pm (1st Friday of each month during term time only) Flexible on these hours for best candidate.

passionate early years educator who loves to cook

- or a

creative cook who enjoys working with children

. This unique role blends

teaching and cooking

, from preparing wholesome, home-style meals to leading

hands-on cooking experiences with the children

.

Key Responsibilities

Teach in the nursery and

plan and prepare healthy, home-style meals

for the children.

Cook with the children

, creating fun, interactive learning experiences around food. Prepare

healthy meals and snacks

for up to 24 children and 8 staff. Maintain

high standards of hygiene, food safety, and allergy management

. Plan and deliver

engaging EYFS activities

aligned with our nature-inspired ethos. Contribute to

planning, observations, and assessments

of children's learning. Work collaboratively with a

small, dedicated team

to create a warm and inspiring environment. Be a

positive role model

for children at all times.

Requirements

Food hygiene qualification

(or willingness to obtain - essential).

Qualification in Early Years Childcare & Education

(desirable). Experience working with

young children

. Confidence in preparing

simple, healthy meals

(chef experience not essential - passion is!). Enthusiasm for

hands-on learning

and

outdoor activities

. A

warm, positive, team-oriented approach

.
