Contract Type:

FTC till August 2026, 0.5 FTE

We are looking for an inspirational Teacher of Physics who can confidently lead our highly ambitious and talented students through their A level physics qualification. We would also be looking to use your expertise to develop other modules/programmes within the centre.

This is a fixed term contract from the 1st April 2026, till end of August 2026 working 0.5 FTE (with extension possible from 1 September 2026 of at least 0.3 FTE).

You will be delivering engaging face-to-face teaching on campus to international students from a wide range of cultural and educational backgrounds. The role involves lecturing, seminars and tutorials, designing and marking assessments, providing high-quality feedback, and supporting students' academic progress and progression to university study.

The successful candidate will hold a relevant undergraduate degree in Physics or a closely related subject, with a recognised teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE, CertEd or equivalent, or substantial relevant teaching experience. Experience of teaching A Level Physics and working with international students is desirable.

Job Types: Part-time, Fixed term contract

Pay: 32,409.00-37,635.00 per year
