Online for 1 student and face to face in Dartford for another

Rate:

25-30 per hour

Hours:

15 hours per week (5 hours per subject) during school hours

SEND experience required with Neurodivigent Students



About the Role:


We are seeking an enthusiastic and experienced tutor to provide

one-to-one support in English, Maths, and Media

15 hours of tuition per week

, split evenly with

5 hours for each subject

, helping a motivated student working towards

GCSE qualifications

and preparing for

college progression

Key Responsibilities:



Deliver personalised, engaging lessons in

Maths, English, and Media

. Provide

5 hours per week for each subject

, tailored to the student's current level and goals. Encourage confidence, independence, and a love of learning. Track progress and provide feedback to the student and coordinating staff.

Requirements:



Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) preferred

, but not essential. Proven experience tutoring at

GCSE level

in Maths, English, or Media. Ideally, candidates who have

studied the subjects individually at university

or have equivalent in-depth knowledge. Experience supporting students with

additional learning needs

is desirable. Ability to deliver

face-to-face tuition

in ME4 during school hours. Patient, flexible, and motivational approach.

Overview


We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Tutor to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tutoring and teaching, with experience working with children, including those with special educational needs. Responsibilities



Provide one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions to students across various subjects. Develop customised lesson plans that cater to the individual learning styles and needs of each student. Assess students' progress and adapt teaching methods accordingly to ensure effective learning. Create a positive and engaging learning environment that encourages student participation. Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding student progress and areas for improvement. Collaborate with other educators and specialists to support students with special educational needs. Maintain accurate records of student performance and attendance.

Qualifications



Proven experience in tutoring or teaching, preferably with children of varying ages. Strong understanding of educational principles and practices, including special education techniques. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively engage with students and their families. Ability to build rapport with students and create a supportive learning atmosphere. Patience, empathy, and adaptability in addressing the diverse needs of learners. Relevant qualifications in education or a related field are advantageous but not mandatory.
