SEN Teaching Assistant - 1:1 - Mornings Only - Surrey

Love Teachers is recruiting for a patient and energetic Teaching Assistant to join one of the countries leading independent schools in Oxshott, Surrey.

You will work one to one with a Year 4 student with Autism and ADHD, supporting them during their morning lessons - helping engagement, inspiring and encouraging progress. The working hours are 8.30am until 12.30pm, Monday to Friday, term time.

This creative and nurturing school structures it's teaching around the interests of the pupils. Set in wonderful grounds with excellent facilities, the school is very well-managed with a friendly and positive atmosphere benefiting both staff and pupils.

As well as enjoying high academic standards the school also emphasises arts and extra-curricular activities, as well as independence, self worth and a love of learning in its pupils, favouring topic-based learning and engagement with the real world.

SEN 1:1 Teaching Assistant Requirements:

Experience working in UK schools or with young people (preferably with ADHD and Autism) within the past 2 years.

- SEN Experience (qualifications and training ideal but not necessary).
- Confidence and Energy.
- Great references.?
- Motivated attitude and a passion?that inspires children.

- Enhanced DBS in place or willing to apply for one.
