TEACHING ASSISTANT 2 or 3 (KS1) - Required immediately
Temporary until 31 December 2026 (with possible extension)
TA2 Band 3, pt 6 to 11, 25,989 to 28,142 pro rata or TA3 Band 4, pt 12 to 17, 28,598 to 31,022 pro rata (dependent on candidate)
Hours: 30 hours per week (term time only)

The Governors of Urmston Primary School wish to appoint a suitably qualified and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant (Level 2 or 3) to join our highly motivated and dedicated team to work in KS1.
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following qualities:
At least Level 2/3 qualifications or equivalent
Excellent literacy, numeracy and ICT skills
Excellent skills in terms of classroom practice
High expectations of children's learning and behaviour
Commitment, flexibility and enthusiasm
An effective team member
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
