We wish to appoint a TA2/TA3 (depending on experience/qualifications)
The position will be paid:
TA2 on single status grade 3, point 7, equivalent to 24,796 (pro rata salary of 14,514 per annum, 1209.00 PCM based on 25 hours), or:
TA3 on grade 4 single status 9, equivalent to 25,185 (pro rata salary of 14,742 per annum, 1228.00 PCM based on 25 hours)
The successful candidate will be employed for up to 25 hours per week over five days. The hours could include working breakfast club from 08.10hrs, TA hours between 8.45 to 15.15 and lunch time duties between 12 - 13.00. We would be open to two people sharing the 25 hours. We are aiming for a start date of January 2026
We wish to appoint someone who has the:
Experience of supporting children in a classroom environment, including those with special educational needs
Experience of using Information Technology to support pupils in the classroom
Experience of working on a 1 to 1 basis with individual children as well as with groups and the whole class
Ability to use language and other communication skills that pupils can understand and relate to
Experience of delivering interventions such as speech and language
Ability to monitor the pupils' response to the learning activities and, where appropriate, modify or adapt the activities as agreed with the teacher to achieve the intended learning outcomes
Ability to carry out and report on systematic observations of pupils' knowledge, understanding and skills
Ability to assist in the recording of lessons and assessment as required by the teacher
Ability to engage sympathetically with children with SEN
Ability to communicate high expectations for work and behaviour of children;
Ability to work well in a team and has excellent interpersonal skills
