Job Description

Hours of work: 17.66 hours per week


Working pattern: Part-time, Term-time only (working for 39 weeks per year plus 6.05 weeks annual leave, which will increase after 5 years' continuous service)


(As the position is part-time/term-time only, the above salary will be pro rata)


Fixed term for: 1 year

We are seeking to recruit a Key Stage two Teaching Assistant (TA) and Midday Supervisor (MDSA) to join our staff team from September 2025.



The Teaching Assistant's working pattern will be four mornings each week, from 8.35 a.m. to 12.10 p.m. and the MDSA role will be from 12.10 p.m. to 1 p.m. The working days will be Monday to Thursday and the posts are term time only.



These posts will be fixed term to July 2026 in the first instance.



The successful applicant will have experience of supporting whole class learning and will demonstrate the ability to provide consistent, calm support and encouragement. In addition, they will show flexibility and an understanding of effective approaches to meet the needs of small groups and individual children within the class.
