We have a fantastic opportunity for a graduate with aspirations in Art, Music, Play, Occupational or Speech and Language Therapy to work as a Teaching Assistant in a specialist school for children with Autism and associated Complex Social Needs.

As a Teaching Assistant, you will be working with learners who face neurological, respiratory, gastrointestinal, musculoskeletal, and immune system problems, which can present barriers to their access to education. You will be supporting the children to overcome these barriers and giving them as much joy, stimuli, and recognition as possible. Each child\'s learning ability will dictate the approach and levels of objectives.

The school provides a tailored curriculum for each student based on ability, not the child\'s age, and focuses heavily on learning through play and marginal achievements, which can evolve into sustainable progress. The school\'s outstanding teaching and support teams work holistically to create a positive and supportive atmosphere for the learners.
