We are seeking an enthusiastic committed professional to join us as a Teaching Assistant

The successful candidate will be:

Mentoring, supporting and inspiring learners by supporting them with curriculum-based learning in the classroom, on home tuition and outreach and through outdoor activities Assisting with the preparation of learning material and contributing to the delivery of learning objectives with a strong focus on behavioural management Report daily on learners' progress and barriers to learning Interacting with parents/care givers on a regular basis

Our ideal candidate will have:

A committed and passionate view of students with SEND At least two years' experience minimum of working in a SEND environment or similar unit/provision A level 3 TA qualification is advantageous

At Parkhouse School

The Pupils arrive at Park House School with a history of disrupted schooling. The school seeks to re-establish the concept of learning as a positive and enjoyable experience and ensure each pupil reaches their true potential. The school has clear, positive expectations for behaviour and well-established and successful positive reinforcement strategies that are reviewed regularly. Every pupil has individual targets relating to both academic and behavioural achievements that are reviewed regularly to ensure positive progress is being made.
