About the Role:



Ten10Talent have partnered with a Primary School in Welling, Bexley. We are excited to recruit a Teaching Assistant to support the launch and ongoing success of their new

specialist speech and language unit

, designed to help children with identified SLCN thrive both academically and socially. You'll work alongside experienced teachers, speech and language therapists, and the wider inclusion team to provide tailored support to pupils aged 4-11.

Key Responsibilities:



Support the delivery of targeted speech and language interventions Assist the class teacher in creating a supportive and engaging learning environment Work one-on-one or in small groups with children with communication needs Monitor and record pupil progress and report to the SENCO and class teacher Foster a safe, positive, and inclusive atmosphere for all learners

The Ideal Candidate:



Experience working with children in a primary school setting Knowledge or experience of speech, language and communication needs (desirable but not essential) Excellent communication and interpersonal skills A positive, flexible and nurturing approach to supporting pupils Teaching Assistant qualification (Level 2 or 3) is desirable, but not essential A willingness to undertake relevant training and development
