Specialist Mentor

In this vital role, you won't just be teaching; you will be building the resilience and confidence a young learner needs to thrive. You will serve as the intersection between academic tutoring and therapeutic support, providing the consistency required to transform a young person's educational journey.

Your Mission

Deliver Strategic Mentorship:

You will provide bespoke 1:1 mentorship that adapts to the child's unique learning style. You are not just following a curriculum; you are creating a pathway that makes learning accessible and engaging.

Champion Holistic Growth:

You will combine targeted academic support with emotional coaching. Your goal is to foster inner strength, self-belief, and the emotional tools necessary for long-term success.

Implement Behavioural Interventions:

You will utilise principles of

Applied Behaviour Analysis (ABA)

and positive reinforcement to encourage independence. You will help the child navigate their emotions and develop self-regulation strategies.

Lead Collaborative Care:

You will act as the vital bridge between home, school, and external specialists. By offering meaningful insights to parents and teachers, you ensure a unified, supportive approach surrounds the child.
Who You Are

You are a warm, empathetic professional with the patience to build deep, trusting relationships. You understand that progress looks different for every child.

Experienced Mentor:

You possess a strong background in mentoring, tutoring, or 1:1 educational support.

Developmentally Focused:

You have proven expertise in

Early Childhood Care

and emotional development. You understand how early milestones impact later learning.

SEN Knowledge:

You are familiar with

Speech and Language Therapy (SLT)

techniques and have experience navigating SEN environments.

Driver:

You hold a full UK Driving Licence and have access to a car (Essential).
