Are you an experienced and enthusiastic Higher-Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) with a passion for supporting young learners? Teaching Personnel is proud to be working with a progressive and inclusive primary school in Bolton that is dedicated to providing every child with the support they need to thrive academically, socially, and emotionally. The school is seeking a committed HLTA to join their collaborative team starting from September.
About the Role:
As a HLTA, you will play a key role in supporting the class teacher with the delivery of lessons across a range of subjects. Your focus will be on providing targeted support to individuals and small groups, helping to ensure that every pupil reaches their full potential. You will also contribute to planning, resource preparation, and maintaining a stimulating and inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support teachers in delivering creative and effective lessons
  • Provide tailored one-to-one and small group support inside and outside the classroom
  • Help maintain an inclusive, positive classroom atmosphere
  • Address students social, emotional, and well-being needs
  • Assist with preparing teaching resources and monitoring student progress
  • Deliver targeted interventions for pupils with additional needs
  • Communicate effectively with staff, pupils, and parents

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
