Key Responsibilities

Work closely with class teachers to deliver engaging, curriculum-aligned lessons for Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2 students. Provide personalized one-on-one and small group support, including for pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), to foster confidence and academic growth. Cultivate a positive, inclusive classroom environment through effective behavior management strategies. Inspire a love for learning by supporting literacy, numeracy, and creative activities. Contribute to the wider school community by preparing resources and participating in enriching events, such as school trips and extracurricular activities.
What We're Looking For

Experience

: Prior experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, or similar role is advantageous but not mandatory - your enthusiasm for education is what matters most!

Qualifications

: A Level 2 or Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification is desirable, but we warmly welcome candidates with relevant experience or a genuine passion for supporting children.

Skills

: Exceptional communication, patience, adaptability, and the ability to build strong relationships with students, staff, and parents.

Attributes

: Energetic, dependable, and committed to promoting children's learning and well-being.

Knowledge
