The Role

We are looking for an inspirational Teaching Assistant to work with 2 KS2 children in the mornings with SEN who need support to access our curriculum and take part in school life. In the afternoons we need that person to assist in general teaching interventions across the school as needed.

The role is term time only (with opportunity for extra holiday work in our all year round Nursery)

9am to 3.15pm

Characteristics

Enthusiastic and committed. Passionate about helping primary school age children with special educational needs to learn and develop. Good team player and positive attitude. Previous experience in primary schools is desirable, in particular working with primary school children with an EHC plan. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

At least NVQ level 3 (or currently working towards) in child development or equivalent. Good computing skills, confidence with Google apps services (email, docs, sheets, slides) and other assistive technologies.

Currently 12.30/hr, if your pay does not qualify immediately for auto enrolment the school will contribute 1% gross pay if you choose to enrol.
