We are a small primary School with 311 pupils and we are part of the Schoolsworks Academy Trust. We work in partnership with our Trust schools as well as our locality group of schools. Since joining Schoolsworks Academy Trust in 2018, Downsbrook has transformed in every aspect and we are delighted to have been rated as a 'Good' school in our March 2022 Ofsted.

Salary:

NJC Grade 3, SCP 3 - 4, 24796 - 25,185 p.a. pro rata.

Actual starting salary - 15,523 p.a.



We are seeking an enthusiastic and energetic Teaching Assistant to join our lively and dynamic school environment. We welcome individuals who are ready to apply their skills, knowledge, and experience to positively impact a school committed to continuous improvement and providing the very best that we can for children in a warm and nurturing environment.



You will also be expected to undertake Midday Meals duties each day. This is a good opportunity to develop professionally in a forward looking learning environment and offers the chance to become part of a successful and developing team.

What You Need to Succeed

We are looking for a positive, caring and well-motivated teaching assistant to work within this friendly and supportive school. Your role requires flexibility in your approach and understanding of the children and requires you to work closely with the class teacher to support the children, including those with additional and/or special educational needs.
