: 13.05 per hour (25,185 pro rata per annum)

Working Hours:

Part time (13 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 39 weeks per year, includes Teacher Training days)

Durrington All Saints Church of England Infant School is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated

Teaching Assistant

to join its vibrant team and provide support to pupils, starting as soon as possible.

We are a welcoming Infant school, educating children between the ages of 4 and 7 years. Situated in the heart of the charming village of Durrington, Wiltshire, we have strong relationships with the Junior School, All Saints Church and the local community. We are incredibly proud of our inclusive and adaptable approach to teaching and learning, which helps all our children to flourish and succeed. Within our Christian framework, we aim to foster the growth of our children both academically and spiritually; developing responsible, caring and happy individuals. We joined Acorn education Trust in May 2022, which provides exciting opportunities to improve local education, collaborate with schools and draw on collective experience. In June 2025, we were proud to, once again, be confirmed as a 'good' school by Ofsted.

As a Teaching Assistant, you must be able to work across all age ranges within our school and be prepared to work flexibly to support children of all abilities, including those requiring SEN support, liaising with teachers and SENCO.

We are looking for someone who:

Has a passion for delivering high quality and exciting opportunities for children; Has strong interpersonal and communication skills and is able to work with a variety of pupils, staff and parents; Has superb attention to detail and organisational skills; Is self-motivated dedicated and consistent; Enjoys working with children and can develop good working relationships with them; Has the ability to deal with new challenging situations; Can be a strong team player as well as use your own initiative; Has a positive and flexible attitude. Has experience of supporting children's learning.
