Teaching Assistant

to work across

two lovely primary schools in Ellesmere Port

, providing classroom and 1:1 support.

This is a permanent, term-time role that offers variety, progression, and the opportunity to work closely with two supportive school teams.

Key Details

Location:

Two schools in Ellesmere Port (5 minutes' drive / 20-minute walk apart)

Hours:

Morning:

8:30am - 12:05pm (Year 2 Class)

Afternoon:

1:00pm - 3:30pm (1:1 Reception SEND Support)

Days:

Monday to Friday (term-time only, PAID OVER 12 MONTH SALARY)

Contract:

Permanent, salaried (with optional paid holiday club work available)

Start Date:

After half term

Pay:

Competitive, depending on experience

About the Role

This rewarding position is split between two welcoming schools:

Mornings:

Support a

Year 2 class

, working alongside the teacher to deliver engaging lessons and help pupils build confidence and independence.

Afternoons:

Provide

1:1 support for a Reception child with additional needs

, helping them develop social, communication and learning skills through play and structured activities.
You'll play an important part in each setting -- supporting learning, celebrating progress, and being a positive, consistent presence for pupils who thrive on encouragement.

About You

Caring, patient and reliable Confident working with children in Early Years and Key Stage 1 Able to adapt and communicate effectively with both pupils and staff Experience supporting children with SEND (desirable, not essential - full training provided) DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
