We are looking to recruit a teaching assistant to join out lively and amazing Reception class.This position is starting asap.

The school caters for children and young people who have a wide range of ability, All pupils are provided with an exciting, balanced education which will be appropriately paced and designed to meet their individual education needs.

The role:

Supervise EYFS pupils , ensuring their safety and ability to access learning activities and understand the information presented Aid the execution of education plans suitable to each pupils' learning objectives. Build a trusting relationship with all pupils and communicate according to their understanding. Promote class interaction and ensure pupils engage throughout the lessons. Create an interesting environment for students. Assist pupils with practical activities using a variety of teaching aids. Look after children's physical, social and emotional welfare.

This is a long-term, full-time position so we are looking for candidates to be available 5 days a week between the hours of 8:30am-3.30pm. Please only apply if you can accommodate this.

There is scope for supporting with after school club 1-3 nights a week to enhance the salary. There is scope to add holiday club support 1-3 weeks a year to further enhance salary.

All applicants will require the appropriate qualifications and training for this role.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of statutory holiday pay.
