Crags Community School is a large primary school in Maltby, a town on the outskirts of Rotherham and is part of Nexus Multi Academy Trust. At Crags Community School we believe that in order to nurture our 'Team Crags' ethos there are five main elements;

Community, Relationships, Aspirations, Growth, Success

Our staff are highly skilled and committed professionals, who work in partnership with home, to ensure children's experiences in school are productive and enjoyable. We aim to help children grow as independent individuals and thrive as part of a team, academically, socially and emotionally. We passionately believe in providing a curriculum that is inspiring and engaging. Our aim is for pupils to gain the requisite knowledge and skills to be successful, independent and motivated learners in readiness for their next stage of education. Our curriculum considers the development of the whole child and we strive to enable our children to achieve their full potential through opportunities to learn and develop in a school environment that is positive and safe, where all individuals are treated equally. We all have a shared responsibility to promote the highest of expectations and want all stakeholders to contribute and be heard.

We foster positive relationships and a can do attitude amongst the school community by offering an environment of support, where individuals feel listened to, making time for sharing and understanding from others' point of view and being adventurous in our approach.
