24,413 per annum pro rata

Grade C NJC Scale Point 2

Contract:

Fixed Term contract from January 2026 until the end of this academic year (31st August 2026)

Hours:

3 days per week (Monday, Thursday & Friday) - 2 days in Years 3 & 4 and 1 day in Key Stage 1


19.5 hours per week (6.5 hours per day including 0.5 lunch) 8.45am - 3.45pm

Start date:

1st January 2026 or as soon as practically possible

Grewelthorpe CE Primary School is recruiting a Teaching Assistant to join our team and support the delivery of teaching and learning to children in both Key Stage 1 and 2 classes.

Grewelthorpe CE Primary School is looking to recruit a friendly and committed Teaching Assistant to join our team. This role will support the classroom teacher by assisting with lesson preparation, supervising children, and providing one-on-one or small-group help to children who need extra support. This can include work with children with special educational needs.
