Casual Teaching Assistant

Location: Across Schools in Halton
Pay: From 13 per hour
Hours: Term time only (with optional holiday opportunities through Connect2Halton)

Connect2Halton is seeking enthusiastic and flexible Casual Teaching Assistants to work across a range of schools in the Halton area.

This rewarding role offers a variety of placements -- from short-term cover across multiple schools to longer-term positions that could lead to permanent employment.

What you'll be doing

Supporting teachers in the classroom to create an engaging and inclusive learning environment Providing one-to-one and small group support for pupils, including those with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND) Assisting with general classroom duties and wider school activities Building positive relationships with children to help them reach their full potential
About you

Must have at least a Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent) Experience of working with children or young people (school-based experience desirable but not essential) A caring, patient, and adaptable approach A willingness to work flexibly across different schools Good communication and teamwork skills
