Justteachers is currently recruiting on behalf of a welcoming and inclusive primary school in Harrogate. We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic
Teaching Assistant
to support pupils across EYFS, KS1, and KS2. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a supportive team and make a real difference in children's education and development.Key Responsibilities:
Provide classroom support to teachers and pupils, including small group and one-to-one interventions. Assist in the planning and delivery of engaging learning activities. Support pupils with Special Educational Needs (SEN), ensuring their individual needs are met. Help maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment. Monitor pupil progress and provide feedback to teaching staff. Contribute to the safeguarding and welfare of all pupils.
Requirements:
Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification
or equivalent, orprevious experience
working in a primary school setting. Experience supporting children with SEN is highly desirable. A patient, nurturing, and proactive approach to working with children. Strong communication and teamwork skills. A valid DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one through Justteachers.Job Type: Full-time
Pay: 90.00-115.00 per day
