What You Will Do as a Teaching Assistant:

Classroom Delivery:

Support whole-class lessons and lead core subject groups in reading, phonics, and numeracy.

Small Group and 1:1 Work:

Deliver targeted interventions to help children close learning gaps.

Behaviour Support:

Reinforce routines, build positive pupil relationships, and support self-regulation.

Assessment Support:

Track and share pupil progress with teaching staff to inform planning.

Display and Resources:

Prepare learning materials, manage classroom visuals, and promote pupil engagement.

Professional Liaison:

Collaborate with SENCOs, teachers, and support staff to provide coordinated support.
What We Are Looking For:

A skilled

Teaching Assistant

with proven experience in primary settings. Someone calm, flexible, and positive - with the ability to adapt to a range of pupil needs. Comfortable working in Key Stage One or Lower Key Stage Two. Familiarity with phonics and early maths interventions would be beneficial. A team player who values communication, consistency, and clear boundaries. Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply.
