The Board of Directors of The Rainbow Multi Academy Trust are looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support pupils learning at St Michaels C of E Primary School.

As the successful candidate, you will have a nurturing demeanour and be fully committed to promoting the needs and welfare of all children. You will be flexible, caring, and engaging, with a strong ability to adapt to the health and educational needs of every child in our school community.

You must hold GCSE-level qualifications in English and Maths, with experience as a Teaching Assistant supporting children with special educational needs. You should be confident in providing learning support across Key Stages 1 and 2.

You will bring valuable experience and awareness in supporting children with Autism, Epilepsy (including the management of seizures), and Pica, and be confident in delivering intimate care when required. You will also be a qualified First Aider, and willing to provide lunchtime supervisor cover as part of your role.

It is essential that you can support the Christian Ethos of the school, whilst building positive relationships and working collaboratively as part of a team. Particularly in supporting children with SEN/D in a mainstream setting, which will be a key priority in your role.

Pay: 24,413.00-26,670.32 per year
