Teaching Assistant Position in High Wycombe

Responsibilities:

• Provide support to the classroom teacher in delivering high-quality learning experiences for students.
• Assist students with their academic tasks, providing individualised attention and guidance as needed.
• Support students with special educational needs, ensuring they have equal access to education and are included in classroom activities.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment, promoting student engagement and participation.
• Assist with behaviour management strategies and maintain a safe and respectful classroom atmosphere.
• Collaborate with the teacher in implementing lesson plans and adapting them to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to the teacher and parents/guardians.

Requirements:

• Previous experience working as a Teaching Assistant or in a similar role is preferred.
• A genuine passion for education and supporting student\'s growth and development.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to build positive relationships with students, parents, and colleagues.
• Patience, empathy, and understanding to effectively work with students from diverse backgrounds and with different learning needs.
• Strong organisational skills to assist with classroom management and administrative tasks.
• Flexibility and adaptability to respond to the evolving needs of students and the school environment.
