Job description
We are proud to be working with a vibrant and inclusive SEND school in Hemel Hempstead that places children at the centre of everything they do. The school offers a creative and stimulating curriculum, delivered by a dedicated and experienced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with SEND as a Teaching Assistant
Work collaboratively with staff and contribute positively to the wider school community
Support teachers in delivering engaging and interactive lessons as a Teaching Assistant
Observe and assess children's progress, offering meaningful feedback to both teachers and parents
Continuously reflect on and improve your practice as a Teaching Assistant
What We're Looking For:
Previous experience working with children in a school setting or residential care environment
A reference to support your experience with children
An enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply for one)
The ability to commute to or live in Hemel Hempstead
