Grange Community Primary School
are seeking a caring, passionate, and dedicated
EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) Teaching Assistant
to join our friendly and supportive Early Years team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in nurturing and inspiring children aged 4 - 5, helping them develop a lifelong love of learning.
You will
:
support the class teacher in planning and delivering engaging, creative activities in line with the EYFS curriculum
foster a nurturing, inclusive, and stimulating environment where every child feels valued and encouraged to reach their full potential
assist with observations, assessments, and record-keeping to monitor children's progress and development
promote independence, curiosity, and confidence through high-quality play-based learning
work collaboratively with colleagues, parents, and carers to meet each child's individual needs
uphold the school's values, behaviour expectations, and safeguarding policies at all times.
We are looking for someone who:
has a genuine passion for early years education and supporting young children's growth and development
has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
is a positive team player with the ability to take initiative and adapt when needed
is patient, kind, and flexible approach to working with children
holds a relevant childcare qualification (e.g. Level 2 or Level 3 in Early Years Education/Childcare) is desirable
has experience working in an EYFS setting, which is advantageous but not essential.
