Job Description

We are seeking a reliable and committed assistant to support our maths tutors and students in person at our Fulham centre. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with children and wants to contribute to their learning journey.

About the Role

Assist tutors during lessons, ensuring smooth classroom management and engagement. Support students individually or in small groups as needed. Write clear, informative student progress reports. Help prepare lesson materials and assist with administrative tasks related to tutoring sessions. Be a dependable presence, maintaining focus and professionalism throughout lessons. Be prepared for back-to-back classes at times, requiring stamina and organisational efficiency.

Reliability, commitment, and strong organisational skills. Enjoy working with children and supporting their learning. Ability to follow tutor instructions and adapt to the needs of different learners. Good communication skills with students, parents, and tutors.

Key Requirements

Required:

Previous experience in education, tutoring support, or childcare. Knowledge of maths curriculum across

Year 1-Year 11

. Available for in-person sessions in

Fulham, London

(weekends and term time). English fluency. Work authorisation: United Kingdom.

Preferred:

Technical abilities (e.g., confident with digital learning platforms, Excel/Word, online reporting tools). Familiarity with a range of UK curriculums (KS1-KS4). Additional experience in lesson preparation or academic administration.

Schedule
