The Governors of Elm Wood Community Primary School are seeking to appoint a temporary enthusiastic and motivated Teaching Assistants (Level 1) to join a highly dedicated and friendly team. We are looking for someone who has particular skills in the Early Years, KS1 or lower Key Stage 2.
Hours of work are 32.50 hours per week, term time only, worked in accordance with service requirement.
The successful candidate must also be able to:
Support children who have additional and/or complex needs
Be committed to our restorative behaviour and relationships policy
Show energy, enthusiasm and creativity in approach and commitment to the learning ethos of the school.
Be willing to learn about a variety of needs and how to support them
Be resilient and caring
Never give up on our children
Commit to CPD in line with the whole school development plans.
Display open positive attitude where teamwork is valued and have excellent interpersonal skills plus a determination to work for the best outcomes for each child.
Contribute to the extensive extra-curricular programme the school already offers.
