Brough Primary School is seeking an enthusiastic, caring and motivated
Teaching Assistant
to join our supportive team.
Due to an increase in the number of children with EHCPs and growing needs across the school, we are expanding our staff team and recruiting for a new position.
This role may be based within our
Enhanced Provision
or in a
mainstream classroom
across any key stage. This is an exciting opportunity to join a forward-thinking school committed to inclusion and high-quality support for all pupils.

About the Role
Successful candidates will:
Support teaching and learning under the direction of class teachers and leaders
Work with individuals and small groups to help children make progress
Contribute to creating a positive, inclusive and nurturing learning environment
Assist with planning, preparation and delivery of tailored activities
Support pupils with SEND, social-emotional needs, or learning challenges as required
Work collaboratively with colleagues across the school
About You
We are looking for people who:
Are patient, flexible, and committed to meeting pupils' individual needs
Have excellent communication and teamwork skills
Can build positive relationships with children, families and staff
Are proactive and willing to use their initiative
Have experience working with children (school-based experience desirable but not essential)
Are committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils

Pay: 18,660.00-18,961.00 per year
