We are a successful and welcoming specialist setting for students aged 11-18 with a broad spectrum of needs. We are currently seeking dedicated individuals to join our team in a rewarding support role.
Your Role: Making Every Day Matter
As a member of our support staff, you'll play a vital part in helping our students achieve their potential. Your responsibilities will include:
Supporting Pupils
: Supervise and provide personalised support, ensuring students feel safe, valued, and engaged in learning.
Delivering Individual Plans
: Assist with Individual Education/Behaviour Plans and Personal Care Programs, including toileting, dressing, feeding, and hygiene.
Building Positive Relationships
: Develop meaningful interactions based on trust and understanding, tailored to each pupil's individual needs.
Encouraging Inclusion
: Foster a sense of belonging and encourage pupils to participate in both classroom and community-based activities.
Promoting Growth
: Support pupils in building confidence, independence, and self-esteem.
Working Collaboratively
: Use ICT effectively in the classroom and work alongside teachers and therapists to deliver specialised learning and therapy programs.
Celebrating Progress
: Provide constructive feedback to students under the guidance of teaching staff, helping them recognise and celebrate their achievements.
