Maendy Primary are seeking to appoint a highly motivated and inspirational Level 2 Teaching Assistant. The successful applicant needs to be flexible and continually prepared to work in Phase 1 and 2, with the main placement being in Years 1 and 2. They should be reliable, resilient and flexible and work well as part of a team.
Maendy Primary is at the heart of the Community. The school has an ALN Resource Base, a BESD provision and, a part time Nursery. The successful candidate will be joining Maendy Primary at a very exciting time as we have recently moved to our new school building in the Summer term. This new development has provided us with the opportunity to expand one-form to a two-form entry with our pupil numbers expected to increase accordingly.

Experience of children, including children with special educational needs;
Ability to support pupil's emotional wellbeing / development;
The ability to follow instruction and have a desire to further their professional development;
Enthusiasm and a conscientious approach;
The ability to embrace change and contribute to school development
