Working Hours: Full Time, 35 Hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 4:00pm

Salary:
Grade 3 24,404 to 25,183 per annum to be pro rata'd for term time working
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic practitioner to join our committed team.
The role will focus on working as part of the SEN team to lead group and individual sessions that support the education of a small group of pupils that have moderate/severe learning and communication difficulties.
All children within the group have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP). We are looking for someone who is dedicated, always keen to learn and develop and can show a positive commitment to the children in our school.

About the Candidate
Ideally, we are looking for someone who:
Has experience of working with children with moderate/severe learning and communication difficulties
Has experience of engaging with and implementing Educational Health and Care Plans
Has the skills set to implement a total communication approach with children
Is suitably well qualified and has experience of working with children/young adults with Autism Spectrum Condition and have an understanding of how speech and language
develops
Is a strong communicator with adults and children
Has a commitment to working with families as partnerships
Is creative, reliable and hardworking
Has the skills to work independently and collaboratively
Is proactive and solution focused
Has a patient and nurturing approach to supporting children
