Post No. POSN001871 - Teaching Assistant Level 2 - Malpas Church in Wales Primary School



We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, reliable and caring Teaching Assistant (Level 2).



The role will involve working mainly in a Y3/4 mixed age class to support pupils in class as well as 1:1 or small group support with pupils who have additional learning needs. You may also be required to work with pupils in the younger years.



Ideally you will have some experience of working with children in a school setting as well as experience of supporting children with additional needs.



Holidays must be taken during school closure periods. The appointment process will involve a short teaching activity with a group of pupils and an interview with members of the school leadership team and a selection of Governors.



This position is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act (1974) and is subject to an enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service Check (DBS).
