Contract Type: Fixed term until 31st March, 2026
Salary Range: SCP7 - SCP8 26,403.00 - 26,824.00 FTE salary (Salary to be pro rata - 18,914.00 - 19,215.00)
Salary amounts quoted are from the 1 September to 31 August and therefore if you commence employment part way through the academic year they are subject to an equated salary adjustment  
Working Type: Part time (30 hours, 39 working weeks, 45.942 paid weeks)  
Base: Badger Hill Academy, Marston Road, Brotton, TS12 2XR
Please note: the post holder will be engaging in regulated activity, working mainly or wholly with children. This position is exempt from the rehabilitation of offender's act 1974. It is an offence to apply for this role if you are barred from engaging in regulated activity relevant to children.

Badger Hill Academy is seeking to appoint a passionate and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join their highly motivated and supportive team. As a SEN support teaching assistant, the successful candidate will support the teaching and learning process within our lower Key Stage 2 team. Ideally, the successful candidate will have:
A passion and drive to make a difference for all children
An ability to support children in all areas of learning across the curriculum
Be flexible and creative
Experience and skills supporting children who have special educational needs
Experience and skills supporting children with speech and language communication needs
Experience working across the primary age range
A good understanding of the National Curriculum
Good communication skills
The ability to build good relationships with children and adults and work as a team player
Excellent organisational skills
