Level 3 Teaching Assistant



35 hours per week, 39.6 weeks per annum



Fixed Term Contract to 31st July 2026



Grade 4 SCP 12 - 17, 28,598 - 31,022 (pro rata to the hours and weeks worked)

Development Opportunity

The Board of Trustees wish?to provide?opportunity for?an?enthusiastic?Level 3 Teaching Assistant.?We are looking for a highly motivated candidate?to become part of our school team. The post holder?will be initially based at Northmoor Academy.

The successful candidate will have:

NVQ 3 for Teaching Assistants or equivalent qualification or experience?or willingness to work towards Literacy and Numeracy skills equivalent to Level 2 of the National Qualification & Credit Framework Completion of Department for Education Teacher Assistant Induction Programme (or?to complete within first term) Awareness of the requirements of children with special needs Experience of working with learning resources and helping with their preparation to support learning programmes Experience of?working with or caring for children of a relevant age to those in the school?(including 2-year-old provision) Communication skills to liaise sensitively and effectively with parents and carers Basic understanding of a child's development and learning.
