Teaching Assistant

Kirton Primary School is a dynamic, multi-award winning, village school, offering a multitude of career opportunities.

We have supported many teaching assistants with their training to become teachers and we offer inhouse training across many areas of the curriculum. We have been in the top 2% of schools nationally for six years running, and our successes have featured in national media. We value the whole child and the whole curriculum.

The successful applicant will hold relevant qualifications in the field of education (NVQ Level 3 or above). GCSE Maths and English (at Grade 4/C or above) are desirable - although not essential!
