Minimum 100 per day Teaching Assistant role based in East London

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Teaching Assistant to support classroom activities and foster an inclusive learning environment. The successful candidate will work closely with teachers, students, and specialised support staff to ensure that pupils, particularly those with special educational needs or disabilities, receive tailored assistance that promotes their academic and social development. Duties

Assist teachers in preparing and delivering lessons, ensuring all students are engaged and supported Support students with behavioural, emotional, or social challenges through mentoring and positive reinforcement Help organise classroom materials and resources for effective lesson delivery Support pupils during breaks, lunch, and recreational activities to promote social interaction and inclusion Monitor student progress and communicate observations to teachers and support staff Foster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment conducive to learning for all pupils

Requirements

Experience with children in educational or childcare settings is highly desirable Strong communication skills to effectively interact with pupils, teachers, parents, and support staff Demonstrated ability to mentor, tutor, and motivate children of diverse backgrounds and abilities Compassionate attitude with a genuine interest in supporting children's development Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment Relevant qualifications or training in special education or related fields are preferred but not essential

Pay: 97.68-140.00 per day
