Hours: Term Time Only | Full-Time

We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Teaching Assistant to join a KS1 class supporting

eight pupils with complex physical disabilities and medical needs

. All pupils are wheelchair users and require

full adult support throughout the school day

, including personal care, positioning, and mobility assistance.

This is a highly rewarding role within a specialist setting, ideal for someone confident, physically capable, and committed to inclusive education and holistic care.

The Role



Support pupils with

complex physical disabilities and medical needs

throughout the school day Assist with

manual handling, positioning, transfers

, and use of specialist equipment Support pupils on and off the floor and in different learning and sensory environments Provide personal care and support with daily routines and activities Work closely with teachers, therapists and medical staff to follow care plans Ensure pupils are safe, comfortable, and fully included in classroom activities

What We're Looking For



Experience working with

physical disability (PD) and complex needs

Manual handling experience

and confidence with physical support Physically fit, agile, and resilient - this is an active, hands-on role Strong understanding of safeguarding and medical awareness Calm, patient, and emotionally robust approach A genuine commitment to inclusive education and child-centred care
