About The Role

Contract Type: Permanent

Working Hours: Full Time, 35 hours per week

Number of positions: 1

Qualifications Required: GCSE English and Maths

Start Date: 5th January 2026

Salary: 18,838 - 19,439 per annum

We are seeking a dedicated Teaching Assistant with experience working with children aged 11-16, including those with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs, English as an Additional Language (EAL), and other Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND.

Strong English subject knowledge to a minimum of GCSE level, numeracy and IT literacy are also essential.

In this role, you will work closely with teachers and colleagues to support pupils' learning, independence, and wellbeing, including those with special educational needs and disabilities.

Help deliver tailored interventions, promote inclusion in lessons and extracurricular activities, and contribute to creating a safe, stimulating learning environment. Have strong communication skills, teamwork, and a commitment to our school's ethos are essential.
